I live in a house, typical of the rural setting of Konni. Houses here are often standalone structures, surrounded by lush greenery and spacious yards. This type of accommodation reflects the close connection to nature that defines life in Konni.

3. Who do you live with?

I live with my extended family, including my parents, grandparents, and siblings. Our home is a bustling hub of activity, filled with warmth, laughter, and shared experiences. Living with family fosters a strong sense of community and support.

4. How long have you lived there?

I’ve had the privilege of calling this house my home for as long as I can remember. It’s where I’ve grown up, surrounded by the love and care of my family. Our roots run deep in Konni, and our home is an integral part of our identity.

5. Do you plan to live there for a long time?

Yes, I envision continuing to live in this house for the foreseeable future. It holds countless memories and embodies the essence of Konni’s tranquil way of life. While opportunities may arise that could necessitate a change, this home will always remain a cherished haven for me and my family.

6. Can you describe the place where you live?

Our house exudes a rustic charm that is quintessentially Konni. It’s nestled amidst verdant foliage, with a sprawling courtyard where coconut palms sway gently in the breeze. The interiors are adorned with traditional wooden furniture, intricately carved doors, and vibrant paintings that reflect our cultural heritage.

7. Which room does your family spend most of the time in?

In our house, the veranda is where our family often gathers to spend time together. It’s a shaded outdoor space that offers respite from the heat, where we share meals, engage in conversations, and relax in each other’s company while enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.

8. What do you usually do in your house/flat/room?

Our house serves as a hub for various activities that bring our family together. From cooking traditional Kerala dishes in the kitchen to sharing stories and laughter in the living room, every corner of our home is filled with warmth and camaraderie. We also have a designated prayer room where we seek solace and spiritual nourishment.
