It is extremely important to know verb forms in order to communicate fluently. Verb is action, and it can be subdivided.
- V1 (verb 1/ base form/ present form)
- V2 (verb 2/ past form) V2= did+V1
ing form is another expression of V1, and we call it present participle
V3 is another expression of V2, and we call it past participle.
Verb can be categorised into REGULAR and IRREGULAR. While regular forms can be made just by adding “ed” to the base form, irregular forms are a bit more complicated to be made. However, if you understand the pattern, you can easily learn them all. Here is a list of irregular verb forms.
